MEET THE TEAM
Fortified is the brainchild of Rich’s 13 years coaching experience. Originally opening the gym in 2018, 2023 marked a year of huge transformation rebranding to Fortified as Rich’s vision has grown and evolved. Outside of work, Rich is married and kept busy with two young kids.

ETHAN
Ethan joined the team in late 2023 as a Junior Coach, fresh to the fitness industry. In that time, Ethan has cemented himself as a member favourite with his infectious positivity and attention to detail when coaching. Ethan now works as a Senior Coach and is growing every day.
JESSIE
Jessie joins us a Senior Coach having previously spent three years as a one to one personal trainer at a studio in Thame. Jessie is no stranger to physical fitness challenges, having completed multiple Turf Games, Hyrox cometitions and even a half marathon.
Alexandra joins us having retrained following her own health and fitness journey. Previously, Alexandra has worked in corporate roles across sales and marketing. Outside of work, Alexandra is very dedicated towards her training and nutrition and will be competing in her first bodybuilding competition soon.

HUW
Huw joins us a Junior Coach, new to the industry, but by no means new to physical fitness. Huw has competed in marathons and triathlons. Huw is currently completing his Level 3 personal training course with The PFCA and we look forward to support his growth in a new career.

We’re here to help you improve your fitness – you don’t need to prove yourself ‘fit enough’ to walk through the door. Our training programs cater to all fitness levels. Sure we have some super fit members training with us, but they’ve all been through their own journey and we’ve built a gym culture that is supportive and encouraging, not intimidating or ego-driven. Be rest assured that we will personalise your sessions where needed so you always get just the right push.

In most cases we are able to personalise your training to work around and often even improve long-standing issues. We’re not manual therapists, but we do work closely with other local businesses who are. We also strive to go the extra mile and liaise with any trusted physiotherapists/chiropractors etc that you already see. We work to ensure that all parties are on the same page; to get you fit, strong and stable.

We are open 06:00 – 20:30 on weekdays and 08:00 – 12:00 on Saturdays.

Yes, we have private off-street parking. There is also free on-street parking directly opposite the gym.

We follow a 12-week training program followed by a testing week. This means that you will know exactly how you are improving across various strength and fitness measures each quarter.
We have an InBody 270, the Rolls-Royce of body composition testing, giving us very accurate reports on weight, body fat percentage, bone density, water content, BMI and more. We typically perform this with members once per month.
We also use the MyZone system. On a micro level to ensure effort level is where it needs to be, but on a macro level it supplies insightful activity reports on a weekly, monthly or quarter basis.

We use an app based booking system that you use to book all sessions. You can book up to the last minute, or up to 28-days ahead of time.

We do not offer access to the gym outside of timetabled sessions.

We don’t offer one-off taster sessions. Rather than provide a flash-in-the-pan taster workout, we’ve deliberately designed the 6-Week Challenge to show you your own potential and what might be possible if you keep investing in yourself.
